MSGT. John R. Bare (Ret.), age 81, of Morristown, passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2011 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Military graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14 at Mountain Home National VA Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

WILLIAM KYLE ‘BILLY’ BRADLEY
William Kyle "Billy" Bradley, age 76, of Rogersville, passed away, Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011 at Signature Health Care of Rogersville. He was a member of Russell Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew T. and Sarah Ellen Carr Bradley, Sr.; sister-in-law, Ella Jo Bradley and niece, Cheryl Ann Bradley.
He is survived by his sister, Mabel Patterson and husband, Norman, Jr. of Talbott; brothers, Andrew T. Bradley, Jr. of Rogersville, Arthur Lee Bradley and wife, Dorothy, James Rodney Bradley, Henry Burem Bradley and wife, Lina all of Kingsport; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011 at Broome Funeral Home, Rogersville.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Pam Hoard and the Rev. Irving Greene officiating. Burial will follow in the Hawkins County Memorial Gardens.

Susie Clevenger, age 40, of Newport, passed away Friday, Nov. 11, 2011.

FRANK BAXTER COBURN
Frank Baxter Coburn, age 50, of Sparta, Tenn., passed away Saturday morning, Nov. 12, 2011 at his home. He was born May 27, 1961 in Knoxville to James Minton and Mary Irene Price Coburn.
He was preceded in death by father, James Minton Coburn; and brother, Randy Coburn.
He was a teacher and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his two daughters, Kelly and Katie Coburn of Lousiana; one son, James Coburn of Louisiana; mother, Mary Irene Price Coburn of Mufreesboro, Tenn.; two sisters, Jamie Coburn of Sparta, Tenn. and Mary Sue Fowler of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.
Funeral service will be held graveside at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 14, 2011 with burial to follow at Cookeville City Cemetery.

REV. OWEN HATMAKER
The Rev. Owen Hatmaker, age 93, of LaFollette, passed away Friday, Nov. 11, 2011. He was a member of LaFollette First Baptist Church, Campbell County, Masonic Lodge & Kerbella Temple and the former owner/operator of LaFollette Monument Company. He pastored at Cedar Hill, Calvary, Newcomb, East Jacksboro, Demory, Grantsboro and Hayne Flat Baptist Churches.
He was preceded in death by wives, Dorothy Weaver Hatmaker and Hazel Mae Yoakum Hatmaker; son, Homer Lewis Hatmaker; parents, Foster and Anna Mae Cooper Hatmaker; brothers and sisters, Clayton Hatmaker, Esta Prater, Paris Hatmaker, Ermie Dagley, Eva Miller and Katy Wilson.
Survivors include children, Anna Coffey of Snellville, Ga., Larry Hatamker of Cleveland, Carolyn Sharp of Inman, S.C., Sandra Hogue and Marsha Anderson of Morristown and Jerry Hatmaker of Winston-Salem, N.C.; 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Hascue Hatmaker of LaFollette, Ernest Hatmaker of Eugene, Ore.; sisters, Lora Grace Miller of Oliver Springs, Cora Lee Nelson of Loudon; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday atCross-Smith Chapel with the Rev. Danny Georges officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bakers Forge Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home in LaFollette.

HELEN MINNIE LEE
Helen Minnie Lee, age 85, of Morristown, departed this life to go home to be with Jesus Saturday morning, Nov. 12, 2011 at the Heritage Center in Morristown. She was a member of Morristown Wesleyan Church for many years. Helen loved being involved in her church and community organizations. Throughout her life, whether it was helping out at school, or working with the band members to run the concession stand at East High School, she cherished being able to help others.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Lee; parents, Dewey and Edith Turner.
She is survived by her children, John and Carolyn Lee, Lloyd and Linda Lee and Dewey and Leila Lee. She also leaves behind five grandsons, two great-granddaughters, three great-grandsons and one great-great granddaughter.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2011 at Morristown Wesleyan Church in Morristown prior to the funeral service at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Junior Gardner and Bill Houck officiating. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011 at Bethesda Cemetery,

Johnny Mack Matthews (John), age 62, of Morristown, moved to his new Heavenly home just a singing and dancing on Friday, Nov. 11, 2011 after a brief illness with acute myeloid leukemia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Irene Matthews; brother, Eddie Matthews and wife, Doris Lampkin Matthews.
He is survived by his children, son, John William Matthews; daughters, Clara L. Matthews Nichols and Lori Jane Matthews Camp; step-children, Lorie and Bo Atkins, Hank Dean and Crystal Parvin; the mother of his children, Rhonda Collins Matthews; grandchildren, Matthew Campbell, Dominique Jenkins, Russell Witt, Tristan Camp, Elaina-Ashtan Camp; step-grandchildren, Camry Parvin, Aaron Parvin, Gary Goins, Adam Dean, Jordan Dean, Josh Atkins and Tasha Atkins; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Raymond Gregg; brothers, R. C. Matthews, Ronnie and Teresa Matthews. He is also survived by his family at Life Care Center of Morristown.

Edna Ferguson Seals, age 72, of Sneedville, passed away suddenly at her home on Friday, Nov. 11, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvert K. Seals; parents, Jess and Emma Ferguson, both of Sneedville; brothers, Dewey Ferguson, Carlynn Ferguson and Donald Ray Ferguson; and sisters, Joann Ferguson and Evelyn (Molly) Collins
Survivors include children, Charles Edward Seals of Maynardville, Deanna Seals Goins, Gary Wayne Seals, Elvert Kay Seals Jr.. "Thurm," Tammy Lois Seals Perry, Kevin Seals, Audrea Lee Seals Winstead and Angela Diane Seals Mead, all of Sneedville. She was blessed with 26 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Brothers, Jess Ferguson Jr., Jack Ferguson, both of Sneedville, Homer Ferguson of Georgia and Grover Ferguson of Mooresburg; Sisters, Loreyene Ferguson and Elizabeth Knight, both of Morristown; special friend of the family, Kathy Seal; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011 at the McNeil Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Smith officiating. Special music will be provided by Talmadge and Barbara Gibson. Interment will follow in the Ferguson Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dennis Barnett, Scott Winstead, Holden Swiney, Bryan Barnett, Logan Seal and Danny Franklin Goins.

ALVIS T. SINGLETON
Alvis T. "Nick" Singleton, age 79, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011. Alvis was of the Baptist Faith. He served honorably in the Army during the Korean War, and was a member of V.F.W. post 5266.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Marie "Corky" Singleton; parents, Auther and Fewel Singleton; and brother Jimmy Singleton.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Singleton; daughters, Lynetta Boyd, and Tonya (Terry) Sexton; step-son, Tim(Tally) Trent; grandchildren, Houston Drew (Toni) Estes, Marie Nicole Godsey, Christian Brian Beach, Julian Samuel Jay Gardner; brothers, Auther Ray Singleton, and Gary Singleton; sisters, Claudetta Ricketts and Janetta Berry; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Elizabeth I. Williford, 54, of Rutledge, born Dec. 3, 1956, went to be with the Lord and reunited with her deceased father, R.C. Voiles and brother, Robert Voiles, on Friday, Nov. 11, 2011.
She leaves her husband, Joe Williford; daughter, Jennifer (Vince) Rickman; son, Josh Heath; mother, Lizzie Voiles; step-daughter, Casey Williford; and step-son, Nick Williford.
Funeral service will be at 8 p.m. Monday at Fielden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Turner, the Rev. Clyde Harless and the Rev. Charles Robison officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday prior to the service at Fielden Funeral Home in New Market.
